I have been designing visuals for both the physical and digital world for 12 years. My job is making things look good and work well. I began in special events and performance—trade shows, weddings, film premier parties, plays, cabaret acts, etc. That work incorporated graphic and print elements (projections, signage, post cards, posters, set pieces). Web design took over my focus in 2004. But I still do plenty of work for print, theatre and film.
These days, I mostly specialize in creating & building pretty, semantic, accessible, cross-browser compatible websites in xHTML, HTML5, CSS, and jQuery with a smidgen of PHP & .NET here and there. I play nicely with WordPress, Joomla, & Drupal, and I can probably wrap my head around any other CMS you prefer in very short order. I'm adroit with HTML emails and know a thing or two about SEO.
I do still write, animate, and draw for projects, and I've been involved in a few really cool ones. You should check them out, even if you're more interested in my web stuff — they'll be fun to watch, I promise.
